Experienced Leadership. A Continued Commitment to Stratford.
It Has Been My Privilege to Serve
For 16 years, I have had the privilege of representing the people of Stratford on City Council.
Throughout that time, I have worked to understand the facts, listen carefully to residents and make responsible decisions in the best interests of our community. I believe experience matters—but so do compassion, cooperation and a willingness to keep learning.
Stratford already has a strong foundation. My commitment is to build upon that foundation while protecting the quality of life that makes our community such a special place to live, work and raise a family.
My Municipal Leadership and Responsibilities
As a City Councillor, my responsibilities extend well beyond attending Council meetings. The role requires careful preparation, responsible financial oversight and active participation in the committees and organizations that help shape Stratford’s future.
My current municipal responsibilities include:
- Stratford City Councillor
- Board Member, Festival Hydro
- Member, Stratford Economic Development Committee
- Chair, Stratford Communities in Bloom
Over four terms on Council, I have also served in a variety of leadership roles involving municipal finance, infrastructure, community services, economic development, parks and environmental initiatives.
These responsibilities have given me a broad understanding of how municipal decisions affect residents, businesses and community organizations throughout Stratford.
Community Leadership and Service
My commitment to Stratford has always extended beyond the Council table. Over the years, I have been involved with organizations and initiatives that strengthen our community, including:
- Stratford Communities in Bloom
- Civic beautification and environmental initiatives
- Stratford Optimist Hoops for Fun
- Stratford Heavenly Hoops
- Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life
These experiences have allowed me to work alongside residents, volunteers, businesses and community organizations who care deeply about Stratford.
I continue to believe that some of our community’s best work happens when municipal government and community partners work together.
